Today is my 39th birthday. Tomorrow begins my journey to 40 and since I'm a writer, I decided to write about it. You can read about my 20th Reunion and see more pics on my other blog: BECOMING 40.
Please pray for me. I am working on a schedule and some sort of plan of action to help keep me on track and complete more assignments. Seriously, I need help. lol :)
Happy Monday, my friends!

9 friends had this to say:
Enjoy the JOURNEY TO 40!! I am behind you but I hear it is fabulous. I like hearing about people who age with humor and fun. I think that is wise :0p.
instead of complaining.(outloud) lol
ANy way HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
BE BLESSED! :0)
A very HAPPY and BLESSED birthday to you Shelly! Before you were knit-together, God knew the plans He had for you. How exciting to see God now working In and THROUGH you to shine HIS light. I can't wait to see where God takes you!
Celebrating YOU and the blessing of who you are in my life!

BTW, the 40's are FABULOUS! :)
Happy, happy birthday, sweet friend. Praying for wisdom and discernment as you etch out your schedule, carving time for ministry and rest.
Happy Birthday!
My 20th high school reunion is that year though I have not heard anything about it.
Happy 39!! You look great!! Never would have guessed that was your age (except for the fact you have a "turning 40" blog!! :>) Much love ~ alice
Enjoy 40 and embrace it. I am 46 and now on the down hill to uhhhhh 50!! God bless and I hope you enjoyed your birthday.
Happy Birthday. I have to admit that I loved my 40th year. It was the best, most fun, and the fittest I have ever been. Have a great year.
Happy belated birthday Shelly! Belated, because i too,am working on scheduling and ministry order. I think most of us are. At any rate, I pray your day was everything you desired. I will keep checking back and I pray all is well with you.
Blessings!

40... Honestly, turning 40 (in 2010) was amazing! I knew I was in a great stride of life, coming into my own. My marriage was wonderful. I loved being a mother. Life was, and still is, great! In fact, I had a more difficult time turning 20 than I did 40.
enjoy as you turn 40! God has an amazing decade ahead of you!
