YOU:create - Week 1

Today I am participating with another blog that I recently found, Gitzen Girl (which, by the way....you will LOVE her blog and be inspired by her story!).  I had plans of grandeur proportions for this post and hopes of sharing an awesome work of creativity! Umm....well.....yeah.  That did not happen, HOWEVER, I DID accomplish something this week! :)

I finished my first online book study!  Yay! :)  Angie and Jessica at The Bloom Book Club hosted a book study for Strong Women, Soft Hearts by Paula Rinehart and encouraged other bloggers to join in, so I did!  It was a really, really, REALLY good book!  I thought I'd share my two favorite posts.....

And in honor of this weekend's holiday (and to share a bit of creativity), I thought I'd post a picture of a past project  .....a patriotic themed bucket full of scrapping goodies :)

Happy Thursday!!  And Happy (early) 4th of July to my fellow Americans! :)

What a great idea. You could create one or two of those and have them sitting out for a project to do during our 4th of July get together. Would be especially fun if you had a Polaroid camera and then you could scrap your day when it happened.

Thanks so much for coming by Make Room For...

I have not read any Paula Rinehart books yet, but I hear her studies are fabulous. I have been wanting to join those Bloom girls, maybe the next book they do in the fall!

Oh, that is so cute. Very well done. :) I love the flowers, especially the gingham ones.

Oooh... I love the idea of those buckets with polaroids! And it would be great to have little projects in there to keep kids busy on those Fourth of July's when it's raining outside.

I had a few of those picnics with my friends back in the day and a bunch of kids inside can get pretty rambunctious pretty quickly :)
